
“Middle Technical University holds a workshop titled ‘Data Privacy in the AI Era’

The Information and Communications Technology Department at the College of Engineering Technology for Oil and Energy in Al-Muthanna, part of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, organized a specialized workshop on the Bologna Process educational system. This system, adopted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, aims to improve the quality of higher education and facilitate student mobility between universities.
The workshop aimed to clarify the mechanisms for implementing the system in technical colleges, with a focus on using digital applications that support the educational process.
The workshop included a detailed explanation of the three main applications of the system:
Student Application: Enables students to track their grades, view attendance records, and receive academic updates via university emails.
Management Application: Allows administrative staff to manage grades, track attendance, and update student data effectively.
Instructor Application: Facilitates faculty members in recording grades, monitoring attendance, and maintaining effective academic communication with students.
The workshop was attended by several faculty members and external lecturers, where the practical benefits of the system in enhancing education and achieving international academic standards were discussed.
This activity is part of the university’s efforts to enhance the educational experience in line with global standards.
