Within the Global Entrepreneurship Week: Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University organizes distinguished events to promote innovation and entrepreneurial projects.

Under the direct guidance of the Deanship of the Technical Engineering College of Petroleum and Energy / Al-Muthanna, the Technology Incubator and Ecosystem Unit at the Technical Engineering College, one of the faculties of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, organized, within the activities of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, a workshop entitled “The nature of the work of the technological incubator and ecosystem for entrepreneurship” in addition to Organizing a bazaar to display works and projects by students and participants.

The workshop aimed to introduce attendees to the role of technological incubators in supporting emerging projects, and how to provide an appropriate work environment to develop entrepreneurial ideas and transform them into executable projects. The integrated ecosystem that supports entrepreneurship and provides success opportunities for owners of innovative projects was also reviewed by Assist. Lect. Heba Youssef Taha, head of the technological incubator and ecosystem unit at the college, gave a comprehensive presentation on the incubator’s working mechanism and its role in providing the necessary support for pioneering projects.

In the bazaar, a number of students presented their innovative projects and products that were developed within the technological incubator environment.

This event is part of the vision of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University to support entrepreneurship, in line with the Leadership project launched by the Iraqi government to encourage innovation and motivate young people to establish their own projects. Through these events, Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University seeks to empower students and transform their ideas into implementable projects, which contributes to developing the local economy and supporting sustainable development..
