A statement of denunciation

Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University announces its strong condemnation and denunciation of the assault to which a number of its employees were subjected by some residents in front of the university fence on 2/26/2025. While performing their job duties. This assault represents a blatant violation of the sanctity of the educational institution and its members, and is considered behavior inconsistent with respect for the law.

The university confirms that such unacceptable behavior will not go unaccounted for, and it has informed the competent security authorities and the judiciary to take the necessary legal measures against the aggressors, and to ensure that such events do not occur again in the future. The university also emphasizes the right of its members to work in a safe and respectful environment, free of any form of violence or threat.

The university holds the security authorities fully responsible for preserving the lives and dignity of its members, and demands that they take all preventive and precautionary measures to ensure their safety and prevent any attacks they may be exposed to while performing their duties or during their movements.

It stresses the importance of respecting the role of educational institutions in building society and developing generations. It also extends its sincere condolences to its affected members and wishes those injured a speedy recovery. It confirms that it will provide all moral support to them and calls on the concerned authorities to assume their responsibilities in maintaining security and respecting the law.
