Under the #WeAllPlant Campaign… Middle Euphrates Technical University Participates in Environmental Conference to Support and Expand Green Spaces in Al-Muthanna Governorate.

The Technical College of Oil and Energy participated in a conference held at the Al-Muthanna Governorate Office to mark the launch of the second season of the #WeAllPlant campaign. This initiative, directed by the Prime Minister’s Office, aims to enhance green spaces and achieve sustainable environmental development.

Representing the college at the conference were Professor Dr. Sabah Mohammed Al-Mutawki, Dean of the College, accompanied by Dr. Khalil Radi Al-Zalzali, Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, and Dr. Sadiq Hassan Al-Kaabi, Assistant Dean for Scientific and Student Affairs. In his speech, Dr. Al-Mutawki emphasized the college’s commitment to supporting sustainable environmental projects and leveraging its scientific and engineering capabilities to advance national initiatives. He highlighted the importance of collaboration between academic institutions and government bodies in achieving green development.

For his part, Al-Muthanna Governor Mr. Muhannad Al-Attabi praised the efforts of Middle Euphrates Technical University’s branches in the governorate, represented by the #Oil_and_Energy_Engineering_College and #Samawah_Technical_Institute. He commended the significant progress in green spaces and infrastructure within the institute and college, reflecting the university’s dedication to providing an integrated and sustainable academic environment. Governor Al-Attabi also acknowledged the pivotal role of Professor Dr. Sabah Mohammed Al-Mutawki in supporting these efforts and overseeing the direct implementation of environmental and developmental projects that enhance the aesthetic and ecological quality of educational institutions.
