The Newly Appointed Ambassador of Spain to Iraq Visits Middle Euphrates Technical University to Strengthen Scientific and Academic Cooperation.

As part of enhancing international relations and academic collaboration, Her Excellency Ms. Aleitha del Bulgár, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to Iraq, paid an official visit to Middle Euphrates Technical University today. The visit aimed to discuss a range of shared interests between the university and Spanish academic institutions.

The university president, Prof. Dr. Hassan Lateef Kazem Al-Zubaidi, welcomed the Spanish ambassador and her accompanying delegation in his office.

During the meeting, Al-Zubaidi provided a brief overview of the university, its structure, and the progress it has achieved in recent years—particularly in developing new programs aligned with labor market demands. He also highlighted the university’s partnerships with various sectors, advancements in educational systems, and improvements to the campus environment, all aimed at ensuring high academic standards for graduates.
