Technical Engineering College for Petroleum and Energy Organizes a Course titled “Lifecycle of the Petroleum Industry and Well Completion & Maintenance Operations”

The Department of Oil and Gas Drilling and Production Engineering Technologies, in cooperation with the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering Technologies and through the College’s Continuing Education Unit, organized a training course titled “Lifecycle of the Petroleum Industry and Well Completion & Maintenance Operations”.

The course targeted college staff and students and covered multiple scientific topics, including:
🔹 Lifecycle of the petroleum industry from exploration to refining and marketing
🔹 Well completion operations: well cleaning, casing and cementing, perforation, Christmas Tree installation, and pressure testing
🔹 Well intervention and workover
🔹 Artificial lift methods: ESP, Gas Lift, PCP
🔹 Oil recovery stages: primary, secondary, and enhanced oil recovery (EOR)

These courses are part of the college’s plan to develop the practical skills of students and staff and equip them with the latest knowledge related to the petroleum industry.
