Technical Engineering College for Oil and Energy Organizes Scientific Course on “Renewable Energy”

The Department of Fuel and Energy Engineering Technologies, through the College’s Continuing Education Unit, organized a scientific course titled “Renewable Energy” with the participation of a number of faculty members and staff.

The course focused on several key areas, including the concept of renewable energy and its types, as well as showcasing the most prominent technologies in solar, wind, and hydropower.

The course also addressed the differences between conventional and clean energy, the benefits of transitioning to sustainable energy, and discussed the challenges facing the implementation of these technologies in Iraq.

The aim of the course was to raise awareness about the importance of alternative energy sources and encourage research and development in this field.
