The Technical Engineering College for petroleum and Energy Holds a Seminar on Traffic Accident Prevention in Cooperation with Al-Muthanna Governorate Traffic Directorate.

The Psychological Guidance and Educational Counseling Unit at the College organized an awareness seminar titled “Prevention of Traffic Accidents” in cooperation with the Al-Muthanna Governorate Traffic Directorate.

The lecturers provided an explanation of the causes of common accidents on the governorate’s roads and clarified the mistakes drivers make in daily situations.

The seminar included steps for safe driving, the impact of adhering to the legal speed limit, the importance of using seat belts, and the role of paying attention to the road and avoiding distractions from mobile phones.

This seminar is part of the College’s efforts to enhance partnerships with governmental institutions in spreading traffic awareness among students.

For his part, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sadiq Hasan Al-Lawzi, Dean of the College, praised the efforts made by the Al-Muthanna Governorate Traffic Directorate in organizing this seminar, emphasizing the College’s keenness to support all activities that enhance traffic safety and increase student awareness.

Representatives of the Traffic Directorate also commended the College’s efforts in spreading traffic culture among students, stressing the importance of continuous cooperation between the two parties.
