General Definition & Objective:

The Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up Division aims to support final-year students and graduates of Middle Euphrates Technical University across all disciplines by enhancing their academic, practical, and life skills to align with labor market needs. This empowers them to compete for jobs post-graduation in both public and private sectors (locally/internationally), while promoting the culture of private sector engagement to reduce pressure on public sector employment.

Division Objectives:

1. Guidance & Awareness:
   • Educate students/graduates on the value of their academic disciplines and their alignment with market demands.
   • Highlight the division’s role and the trainee’s impact on institutional reputation and productivity.
2. Curriculum Development:
   • Conduct studies to modernize curricula, ensuring labor market relevance.
   • Integrate global scientific and knowledge advancements into programs.
3. Partnerships & Networking:
   • Build bridges between graduates (all disciplines) and employers via government/private sector channels.
   • Collaborate with university departments to map specialization-specific job markets (public/private sectors).
4. Training & Capacity Building:
   • Design/implement workshops and training programs (e.g., CV writing, interviews, time management).
   • Offer applied training with partner institutions to bridge skill gaps.
