Under direct guidance from the Deanship of the Technical Engineering College of Petroleum and Energy, the Technology Incubator and Ecosystem Division at the Technical College of Oil and Energy/Muthanna, one of the formations of the Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, organized an awareness symposium entitled ((How to Start Your Entrepreneurial Project)), within the activities of the Global Entrepreneurship Week.

Present at the symposium is Assist. Prof. Dr. Sadiq Hassan Al Kaabi, Assistant Dean for Scientific and Student Affairs, gave a comprehensive explanation of the basics of entrepreneurship and how to turn an idea into a successful project. The symposium also discussed how to study the market, understand its needs, and prepare a solid business plan, in addition to strategies for attracting financing and business development.

Practical advice was presented to the participants on how to plan projects and deal with the challenges they may face.

This symposium comes within the efforts of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to support young entrepreneurs and enhance their creative thinking, as the “leadership” project launched by the Iraqi government was highlighted, which is an initiative to support young entrepreneurs that provides financial and advisory support to small and medium enterprises, with the aim of Strengthening the national economy and creating job opportunities for Iraqi youth.
