The Council of the College of Engineering Technology for Oil and Energy/Al-Muthanna Holds Its Fifth Session for the Academic Year 2024-2025

The Council of the College of Engineering Technology for Oil and Energy/Al-Muthanna held its fifth session for the academic year 2024-2025, chaired by Professor Dr. Sabah Muhammad Al-Mutawki and attended by all members, to discuss the issues listed on the agenda.

The session began with an emphasis on implementing the directives of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, aimed at developing the educational process and enhancing scientific research, as well as the directives issued by the Presidency of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University. Dr. Al-Mutawki also conveyed the commendation of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, for the college’s efforts in improving and developing the educational journey.

The council discussed several key topics on its agenda, most notably the preparations for the final semester exams, with an emphasis on adhering to the exam committee’s instructions. Additionally, there was an emphasis on the importance of faculty participation in the 18th International Scientific Conference of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University and the 4th Conference of Al-Samawah Technical Institute, through the submission of scientific research that contributes to raising the scientific level and enhancing the college’s position in academic forums.

The meeting also addressed preparations for summer training and the necessity of coordinating with relevant entities to provide suitable training opportunities for students. The council opened the floor for discussion on the challenges facing the educational process, stressing the importance of dealing with students with wisdom and humanity.

At the end of the session, Dr. Sabah Muhammad Al-Mutawki affirmed the college’s commitment to continuous development and enhancing its academic standing, while council members expressed their appreciation for his continuous efforts in leading the college towards further excellence.
