
“Middle Technical University holds a workshop titled ‘Data Privacy in the AI Era’

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Latef Al-Zubaidi, President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, and under the direct supervision of Prof. Dr. Sabah Muhammad Al-Mutuki, the Deanship of the Technical Engineering College of Petroleum and Energy / Al-Muthanna and the Samawah Technical Institute, in cooperation with the Holy Imam Hussain Shrine / Department of Intellectual Affairs (Al-Thaqalain Cultural Center), organized a guidance symposium entitled (The Responsibility of the University Student) in the conference hall, in the presence of a group of distinguished sheikhs and clerics, along with a number of professors, employers and students.
The symposium witnessed valuable lectures presented by Sheikh Aqeel Al-Tarfi and Sheikh Asaad Duwaini, which covered several fundamental topics, most notably:
The responsibility placed on students and their role in building society.
Achieving a balance between scientific knowledge and religious values.
The importance of taking the correct religious positions and adhering to moral values.
The relentless pursuit of scientific and cognitive excellence.
The symposium aimed to educate students about the importance of achieving a balance between critical thought and the religious spirit, and promoting the values of science and faith in their academic lives, which contributes to building integrated personalities capable of facing challenges.
The symposium witnessed the presence of a number of sheikhs and scholars who enriched the discussion with their valuable opinions. Where the dialogue and debate were opened to the audience, and a group of religious and intellectual questions were asked and answered at length. Various questions were also asked to the students, and prizes were distributed to the winners.
Special honor:
At the conclusion of the event, the delegation of the holy shrine of Hussein presented the shrine shield to Prof. Dr. Sabah Muhammad al-Mutuki, in appreciation of his distinguished efforts in developing the institute and establishing the Technical Engineering College of Petroleum and Energy in Al-Muthanna. He played a prominent role in enhancing the academic and administrative status of the institute and college by establishing an advanced educational environment that keeps pace with the latest academic standards, which contributed significantly to raising the level of education in the governorate
