The Council of Technical Engineering College of Petroleum and Energy / Al-Muthanna holds its sixth session for the academic year 2024-2025

The Council of Technical Engineering College of Petroleum and Energy / Al-Muthanna held its sixth session for the academic year 2024-2025, headed by Prof. Dr. Sabah Muhammad Al-Mutuki, and in the presence of all members.

The Dean began the session by welcoming the attendees and praising their efforts in supporting the educational process, stressing the implementation of the directives of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, related to completing the procedures for creating scientific departments, and enhancing community awareness to combat the drug phenomenon through awareness programs, in addition to developing the educational process and scientific research to keep pace with developments.

The Council also discussed the directives of the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Al-Zubaidi, regarding openness to the private sector, supporting student projects, and providing a scientific environment that enhances skills, which will reflect positively on the quality of education and linking its outcomes to the labor market.

The most prominent topics of the session included:

Praise the efforts of the examination committee and complete the quarterly examinations, along with sending a letter of thanks and appreciation.

Discussing the results of quarterly exams, analyzing success rates, and following up on students’ performance according to academic standards.

Preparing for final exams, and overcoming obstacles to ensure their smoothness,

Developing the calculator center and website to enhance technical services.

Preparation for the international scientific conference scheduled to be held at the Technical Institute, and participation of the college staff in the committees supporting the conference.

Discussing the introduction of evening studies next year after completing official approvals.

At the conclusion of the session, Prof. Dr. Sabah Muhammad Al-Mutuki praised the efforts of the council members, appreciating their tireless work to raise the level of the college, while the council members expressed their appreciation for his continued keenness to develop the educational process and enhance the status of the college.
