Technical College of Oil and Energy Organizes a Course on Designing and Simulating Oil Equipment Using SolidWorks.

The Fuel and Energy Engineering Techniques Department at the Technical College of Oil and Energy – part of Middle Euphrates Technical University – in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a training course titled:
“Design and Simulation of Oil Equipment Using SolidWorks.”

The course aimed to enhance participants’ skills in engineering design and 3D modeling using one of the leading industrial design software programs.

Key topics covered:
▪️ Introduction to SolidWorks: Interface and workspace overview.
▪️ Applications in petroleum engineering: Practical uses of the software in the oil sector.
▪️ Designing oil equipment: Creating technical drawings and schematics.
▪️ Modeling and simulation: Building 3D models and testing their functionality.
▪️ Estimating project costs: Budget analysis for equipment design.

This course is part of a series of training programs launched by Middle Euphrates Technical University to strengthen practical and digital competencies in petroleum engineering disciplines.
